Kirkby Design Pool Recycled Grapefruit

Tide is Kirkby Design’s first collection of outdoor qualities that are made from 100% recycled solution dyed polyester using GRS certified yarns produced from waste plastic bottles. Taking a product that negatively impacts the outdoors and reinventing it as something positive, approximately 20 x 1.5L bottles are used to produce 1m of all three designs in this collection. Three qualities that deliver on style, texture, colour and practicality; a wavy check, irregular stripe and characterful bouclé have an unexpected softness that defies its recycled plastic origins and creates something truly unique. An anti-mould and stain repellent finish ensures each quality meets the highest standards and will add style to many an outdoor setting for years to come. Pool is a bold and graphic statement design that features a series of undulating lines and curves giving the effect of a regular tile pattern distorted through the water of a swimming pool. The overall effect of the design is one of fluidity and motion, as if water is constantly moving across the surface of the design.
