Zinc Textiles Mercer Calypso

Plain but punchy, texture plays the lead role in this book of indispensable fabrics. An embossed velvet, a faux silk and a calendared chenille, as well as a melange velvet and a decorative weave make up this collection of the fantastic five. Rich in colour; shades of Hunting green, Calypso blue and Brunello red create strong statements, not forgetting the importance of classic neutrals.

The almost fur like appearance of this chenille is reminiscent of Astrakhan, a tightly curled lamb’s fleece. Calendared to give it a lustrous finish, this heavy-weight cloth is extremely tactile and ideal for upholstery with its stain resistant finish that is free from harmful chemicals.
