HAMPSTEAD is a 100% linen which is Oeko-Tex 100, meaning this fabric is certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances. Full of character, a chunky slub and subtle two-tone effect combined with a tumbled, stone-washed finish gives the cloth its relaxed, vintage feel and makes it the perfect weight for drapery and upholstery. A palette of easy to use, contemporary colours includes shades of warm greens, fresh yellows and deep denim.

Linen is considered to be a more sustainable fibre as it is a natural product and the entire flax plant can be used when harvested, meaning there is almost no waste created during the spinning and weaving processes. Flax plants are cultivated at close proximity, producing a high yield and storing large quantities of CO2 each year. Flax plants help improve soil quality which encourages biodiversity in the local ecosystem.
