The Somerset collection tells a story of Emily Bond’s journey, from her childhood growing up in a farmhouse with her beloved dogs, to her travels in India where she was surrounded by inspiration. These precious memories are symbolic in the Somerset Collection, featuring Emily’s signature designs, Peggy & Globe in new colourways, as well as brand new designs that reflect Emily’s love for animals and the picturesque, untouched British countryside. The Somerset collection evokes a feeling of warmth creating a homely, comforting environment, featuring a series of prints inspired by Emily’s family pets and hobbies. Basil, the wire-haired dachshund is printed on a textured cotton base that drapes beautifully, ideal for curtains and soft furnishings. Inspired by Emily’s dog walks in the National Trust Park, Tynesfield, features wild grasses and leaves printed on a herringbone ground. Versatile, block-print style designs, Yew Tree & Globe, have been created to complement a variety of interior styles from modern bohemian to more traditional décor styles. Echoing the organic elements within Emily’s work, the designs have been printed on 100% linen-look cotton, that drapes beautifully for curtains. These playful prints have been combined with two handsome woven stripes, George, and Oscar, which collectively creates a cohesive collection suited to a wide range of styles.
