Width measurement: Track
Measure the width of the track from end to end, if you have an overlap arm in the centre of the track add this onto your total measurement.
Width measurement: Pole
Measure the width between the two finials at each end of your pole.
Length: Pinch/twin/pencil heading on a track
Measure from the top of the track to where you wish the curtains to finish.
Length: Pinch/twin/pencil heading on a pole
Measure from the underside of the curtain ring to where you wish the curtains to finish.
Length: Eyelet heading on a pole
Measure from the top of the pole to where you wish the curtains to finish, we will add 3cm to the measurement to allow for the Stand Up.
Length: Wave heading
You will need a specialist wave track for these curtains (email/call for details) measure from under the track to where you wish the curtains to finish.
Hint: Where should my curtains finish?
Floor length curtains are best measured to 1cm above the floor. Sill length curtains look best 15cm below the sill or just above an existing Radiator.
Hint: Uneven floors
Measure your length in three places, we recommend that you choose the shortest measurement unless you want the Curtains puddled.
Lining
Sateen lined
Made from the finest cotton with added polyester yarns this lining has a soft handle, with beautiful draping qualities.
Blackout lined
This lining offers complete light exclusion and extra protection from the sunlight. Its thermal properties keep sound levels down and the heat in and cold out.
Thermal lined
With good thermal properties, this lining keeps sound levels down, the heat in and cold out. It also offers light protection by reducing the amount of external light that enters the room.
Add interlining for extra insulation
Interlining can be added to any hand finished curtains, whichever lining you select. The extra fleece layer is added between the fabric and the lining, giving increased insulation and ensuring the curtains hang beautifully.
