Chenille Curtain & Upholstery Fabrics

Chenille is created by placing short lengths called the pile between two core yarns and then twisting together, which then allows the edges of the piles to stand at right angles to the yarn which gives the chenille its texture and softness. When viewed the chenille will look different in one direction to another. The product is usually manufactured from cotton or acrylic and rayon.
